Golden hour portrait sessions take place the hour before sunset when the light is soft, and flattering. It’s is THE time for family, maternity, motherhood, and couples sessions because it creates, timeless images.
Why Golden Hour?

When Are Sessions?
Golden hour changes with the seasons.
- Summer: Usually 6:30–8:00 PM
- Fall: Earlier evenings
I’ll schedule your session around sunset for the best light.
What to Wear
Choose colors inspired by nature:
- Cream
- Beige
- Sage
- Olive
- Rust
- Dusty blue
- Soft blush

Arrive Early
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so everyone can settle in before we begin. Golden hour is short, and every minute counts.
