I adore my time with the babies and find so much peace and joy during a session! I genuinely believe that every baby is beautiful and perfect.

I'm still obsessed with this beautiful girls full head full of hair. Her mother wanted to have some rich reds as well as soft neutrals incorporated. I love how well it complimented her skin tone and that full head of hair! This baby girl was so sweet and cooperative and let us incorporate a large variety of poses, props and outfits! I cant wait to see Lilliana for family and six month photos in the near future.

The Newborn Experience
A newborn photography session with me is designed to be calm, comfortable, and peaceful. Whether you utilize my glider to comfortably feed your new baby or even take a nap there is a place for you to relax and leave the work to me! I will change diapers, wipe any spit ups, brush hair flyaways so that parents can just watch and admire their baby or fully relax in the warm studio space knowing your baby is in safe hands.
I will gently pose and guide the baby through a flow of safe and adorable poses either on a posing table or in styled props. There may be a time where I do require guided parent participation to ensure that a pose is safe and supported. This may occur if I need to change out a lens and step away from the baby for a moment. Sometimes messes happen during a photoshoot (and that is PERFECTLY ok!) but I will always make sure the baby is safe, clean and never unattended.
As a photographer the goal is not only to take a nice photograph, but to capture the details that make your baby who he or she is. Just like a mother looking at their baby for the very first time I will capture those perfect little toes, the long eyelashes, the crinkly ears, the texture in their soft pink lips and evoke that raw emotion and love that you felt for your child when they first came into the world.

Congratulations on your new baby! What an amazing time that you are stepping into with your growing family. Before you book a session I would love to take the time to get to know you, understand your expectations, answer any questions you may have and guide you through this process!
1. Say Hello
A paid session fee and signed agreement are required to secure your session. Your session is not reserved until these are complete. Upon booking, I will add your due date to my calendar.
I try to schedule newborn sessions within the first twelve days after birth. This will significantly increase the likelihood that the baby is sleepy and cooperative to settle into the poses and props safely! With that being said early booking is highly recommended.
Newborn sessions take place on weekday mornings at 9:30 AM.
2. Schedule it
I have a variety of colors, backdrops and props to capture the look that you are looking for. As you are decorating your nursery reserving a space on your wall for your artwork make a note of colors that would match or compliment well so that I can prepare the photoshoot to coordinate with your home.
If you have any stuffies, props, or personal items that are sentimental to you and you would like me to incorporate them; you can send me a photo of them so I can plan out how to add it into your session and put a personal touch on your babies photos!
3. Planning it
Your baby will be positioned in a variety of different adorable and safe poses. Some poses may require a gently parent hand to help support while I am positioning. I take baby's safety very seriously and will never leave them unsupported during a session.
You can expect to be at my in-home studio for 2-3 hours. The studio space is kept very warm to keep your baby cozy and comfortable and decrease the chance that they are woken up during any outfit transitions. If we are doing family photos as well please feel free to bring a change of clothes so that you are comfortable during the session as well.
4. Your Session
One week after your photoshoot you will receive a proofing gallery. Once you know how many photos you would want, you will purchase the digital collection for those photos. The final edited images will be ready within 3 weeks after you have made your purchase. I try my best to get final photos back to my clients in a very timely manner!

As you decide on investing in newborn portraits, please keep in mind that payment plans are available. Also keep in mind that this newborn phase is over incredibly fast. While your child is growing out of clothes, high chairs and strollers, your photos will last forever!
